Christabel and the Jons at the Palace 3.23.11 8PM

Dust off your gran-daddy’s old suit, find a hot date, and get ready for Christabel and the Jons, this Wednesday Night at the Palace. Playing a mix of Tennessee Swing and Bossa Nova tunes, these guys are one hell of a good time.
Aspen Brewing Company has sponsored this event, so as usual, beer will be flowing at unbeatable prices! Full bar at The Palace as well. There will be a $5 cover for the band, but well worth all that loose change.
Wear your best swing attire and get ready to get down, Tennessee style! They have even played at Bonnaroo and Drew Emmit ! Tell your friends too!
Check them out @ HERE
See you Wednesday!

Live Music Wednesday 3.23.11 4PM

Hey friends!

Join us at the Brewery once again, as Andrew McConathy comes from the Vail valley to share great tunes!

A talented singer/songwriter, Andrew recently completed his first solo CD with members of Elephant Revival, and is opening for Railroad Earth at Copper Mtn. on the current tour.

His last show at the Brewery was awesome, and to a full house.   So don’t miss this one!

The Aspen Brewing Co deck is the BEST place for spring apres ski.  We will see you there, 4-7 pm!

Aspen Brewery Gear in Iraq!

So here’s an email we received from Captain Mark Stetzko of the 774 EOD Company in Iraq. By the way, EOD stands for “Explosive Ordnance Disposal” so these guys really aren’t scared of anything (except being beer-less in a hot desert):

Dear Aspen Brewing,

I am sitting here in dusty Iraq on a very long deployment, unable to enjoy
one thing that most people take for granted, beer.  As painful as that
sounds, I have been trying to figure out how to enjoy beer without actually
drinking one, and have come up with the idea of trying to get some beer
gear- shirts, posters, etc that I can get for the unit so our bbq’s and
parties are more exciting.  I think it would be great if you were able to
donate some beer gear to us, and I really appreciate all of your support!

Well we couldn’t let our soldiers down so we mailed out some hats and t-shirts and Mark snapped off this photo which shows photographic evidence of Aspen Brewing Co. gear in Iraq!

Aspen Brewing,

Received the beer gear today and it was awesome!  I handed it out to one of our EOD companies (774 Explosive Ordnance Disposal Company) and they thought it was great, and they really appreciate the support!  Thanks again for the donation, and its great having the support from you guys!

Live Music Wednesday 4PM 3.16.11

Greetings friends!

Live music Wednesdays continues this week at the Brewery!

Local musician Trenton Allen brings the good music and vibes to the Brewery this Wednesday, 4-7 pm.  A talented guitarist, singer and songwriter, Trenton has long been a staple of the local live music scene.  Founding member of The Butchers, he has also hosted nearly every Aspen Open Mic in the last decade.  Come raise a glass with Trenton and I as we jam apres-ski style!

See you there!

Come join us for the 2nd Stand Up Comedy night at the Aspen Brewery. Local comedians will do their best to make you squirm, laugh, and possibly pee your pants. We should be kicking off between 7-8. Hope you can make it!
