Bourbon Barrel Imperial Red
Fresh “just picked” hops and premium pale malts, rye, and caramel malt aged in Stranahan’s Colorado whiskey barrels create aggressive notes of bourbon, oak, vanilla, and smoke that complement and enhance the caramel and rye flavors.

Brett Barrel Saison
We took our Great American Beer Festival silver medal award winning Saison, added a very special strain of Brettanomyces, and then put it into some gorgeous French oak wine barrels.
Cougar – Aged Blonde
The aged blonde, on tap now, is called “Cougar.” Our first sour ale. This Season’s Blonde aged in French Oak barrels with a proprietary sour yeast blend and organic Colorado peaches from Okagawa Farms in Grand Junction, Colorado. This beer is slightly sour complimented with sweet peach and citrus flavors.

Vanilla Rum Porter
Vanilla Rum Porter—coming this winter—Our Pyramid Peak Porter aged in Colorado Whiskey barrels we received from our friends at Montanya Rum Distillery in Crested Butte. These barrels aged Colorado Whiskey for two or more years, then three batches of Montanya’s Oro Dark Rum before finding there way to Aspen Brewing Company. We added fresh Pyramid Peak Porter and organic vanilla beans to the barrels and let it age for six months. Perfect brew for apres ski.
