Okay people, now that we have cans of This Season’s Blonde and Independence Pass Alewe’re asking you to take photos of the cans throughout Colorado and beyond. Submit your photos by emailing them to info@AspenBrewingCo.com, make sure to include your name and contact info. We will put the photos together in an online/Facebook album, where friends of Aspen Brewing Company can “like” your photos…the picture with the most likes and best response will be the winner. Its pretty simple from your end: take cans to cool places, snap pictures and win free beer gear. Winners and prizes will be announced online. Happy trails!

The second installment of our Single Hop Series, Simcoe IPA! We took the wort (term for un-fermented beer) before hops were added in our standard IPA recipe, and added Simcoe hops exclusively for the bittering, flavor and aroma hop additions. Yes, this beer was triple hops brewed too! Come by for a pint and expand your pallet and understanding of what makes Independence Pass Ale.

Our Single Hops Series is like no other beer series on the planet, at least as far as we know. We have begun to feature one hop variety in different beers to specifically showcase what each hop variety contributes to the end product. It gives all of us a chance to see what the bittering, flavor and aroma characteristics specifically are. Tappin’ Tuesday is when we tap these new experimental beers, Single Hop Series, Oak Aged and many more experimental brews. Don’t miss out!
Aspen Brewing Can on top of Highland Bowl!
Finally I made it to the top of Highland Bowl with a can (or many cans) of This Season’s Blonde on Highlands closing day! Despite the winter conditions yesterday, spring weather is back in the forecast for this week. Come grab a pint, a bottle of our Spring Seasonal Belgian Saison or a six pack of Blonde cans for your off-season adventures.
If Tuesday isn’t quickly becoming your favorite day of the week, you are missing out. Our Spring Seasonal Belgian Saison is here in beautiful 750ML bottles. Come by the Tasting Room (304 E. Spring Seasonal in Bottles!
Yes, it’s true! Our fourth anniversary is this Saturday, St. Patty’s Day, and we are celebrating all week long! Sure, it may seem like we’ve only been open a year or so, but with our IPA at 7%ABV (and often a little higher), time flies by! Come join us for a celebratory pint of your favorite local brew, we have all nine draft lines flowing!

Look at this fat line-up of beers! Perfect for your Fat Tuesday celebration! And we’ll be tapping another delicious specialty beer today as we do every Tuesday. Oaked Red is today’s specialty beer, and it’s amazing. We aged Conundrum Red Ale on heavily toasted oak staves for six weeks. In addition, the temperature of the tank fluctuated daily to inspire more interaction between the beer and oak, creating a rich oak flavor within the malt and hop flavors of the Conundrum.
Come get a taste of this before it’s gone.

Ajax Pilsner is back on tap!
Yes, it’s true. After a long hiatus the infamous Ajax Pilsner is back on tap in our tasting room. The perfect apres ski beer. This completes Aspen Brewing Company’s long journey from the original Mill St brewery, with our full line up of beers available to all once again. Come celebrate with us this week and indulge on our full line up of Aspen’s favorite brews!
In addition, we have Conundrum Red Ale pouring on nitro and Tappin’ Tuesday’s Spiced Blonde.

It’s Tuesday again, and that means we’re tapping another specialty pilot brew. This week, Chase infused a blend of spices, including sweet orange peel, lemon grass, coriander and black berry leaves into This Season’s Blonde. Bring your special someone by for a pint of our Spiced Blonde before it’s gone!

FREE LIVE MUSIC Friday and Saturday Nights, $4 PINTS of Aspen’s favorite beer, and awesome GRUB from Aspen’s Over Easy Cafe. Every hour is happy hour…that means $4 Pints and $15 Pitchers of locally made craft beers, light to dark. We open every day at noon, and stay open until the party is over; that means late. Also, our hard Cider will be back on tap! Local Apple Cider fermented with wild & Champagne yeasts.

Cans of Independence Pass Ale and This Season’s Blonde are coming soon! We promise! Finally after months of delays with our equipment manufacturer, the Brewery at the Aspen Airport Business Center is up and running (tours coming soon!) We are making Aspen’s favorite brews as fast as we can. As of now, we have five of our six main beers available in our Tasting Room (304 East Hopkins) with Ajax Pilsner coming out in less than two weeks. Come and taste the new and improved batches of Independence Pass Ale IPA, This Season’s Blonde, Brown Bear Ale, Conundrum Red and Pyramid Peak Porter! Chase is killing it! In addition, our beer is flowing all over the Roaring Fork Valley at these fine establishments: Hotel Jerome’s J-Bar, Little Annies, 39° at Sky Hotel, Belly Up, Silver Queen, The Red Onion, Matsuhisa, The Wheeler Opera House, Out Of Bounds, Highlands Pizza Company, Big Hoss Grill, Mountain Chalet, Viceroy, Finbarr’s, PAC 3, Brick Pony, Carbondale Beer Works, Fine Line Bar & Grill, and Smoke. “Mortimer, we’re back in business!” It’s Gay Ski Week in Aspen, the 35th anniversary at that, and after a long and torturous move to our new brewery, we have the full line up of our beers back on tap. Come and taste the Aspen Brewing Company rainbow! This Season’s Blonde, Independence Pass Ale, Conundrum Red, Brown Bear Ale and Pyramid Peak Porter are all fresh off the new brew system and tasting better than ever!

Is Christmas really next weekend? We’re celebrating! Come by the brewery Thursday night with an ornament for our Christmas tree and get a $2 pint…Banjeaux Bob is behind the bar. Friday night Lightning and Thunder take the stage to show off their forever expanding repertoire of classics, new and old. What’s better than their version of psycho-killer, really? Saturday is business as usual at the tap room…Food is now available through Aspen’s Over Easy Cafe; open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a great and affordable menu. Menus and service are available in our tasting room, sorry we’re not serving breakfast beers just yet. I’m calling for the Patriots to take the Bronco’s down to Chinatown on Sunday, sorry J.C. aka Tebow. Come by for football Sunday and try Over Easy’s basket of wings, Burgers, Smoked Rib-eye Sandwich (our favorite) and much more!
Saturday afternoon we will do our first tour of the new brewery at the ABC! Come by 404 AABC from 4-7PM to check it out!
