TGIF and Super Bowl weekend! Unfortunately the snow fell on the Front Range last night, and unless you have a sister to stay with in Nederland you aren’t ripping Eldora’s two feet of powder. Come prove to Uller that our spirits are high, and we can handle “packed powder conditions.” FREE LIVE MUSIC at the brewery this weekend: Lightning and Thunder kick it off tonight around 8pm following their gnar xgames set from last weekend. Brad Manosevitz takes the stage Saturday night at 8pm!
Super Bowl Sunday with $4 Pints, $15 Pitchers and 5 Styles of Wings in addition to their full menu. The chili dog is our staff favorite. Come buy a $20 square before we sell out.
Oh yeah, we’re going extreme this weekend to celebrate the 2012 ESPN Winter X Games. FREE LIVE MUSIC Friday and Saturday Nights, $4 PINTS of Aspen’s favorite beer, and awesome GRUB from Aspen’s Over Easy Cafe. Every hour is happy hour…that means $4 Pints and $15 Pitchers of locally made craft beers, light to dark. We open every day at noon, and stay open until the party is over; that means late. Also, our hard Cider will be back on tap! Local Apple Cider fermented with wild & Champagne yeasts.
Raise your hand (or a pint) if you like to get EXTREME!
The Great American Ale Trail, by Christian DeBenedetti, is an amazing resource for beer drinkers everywhere. Wherever you live or travel in the US, including Alaska and Hawaii, this book should be your guide to the best beers around. Whether its a brewery, brew pub, or great bar featuring craft beer, you will have “a roadmap for taste-bud adventure.” Come check out the book at the ABC before you realize you cannot live without your own!
Cans of Independence Pass Ale and This Season’s Blonde are coming soon! We promise! Finally after months of delays with our equipment manufacturer, the Brewery at the Aspen Airport Business Center is up and running (tours coming soon!) Wow, we have a lot to be thankful for… A couple days ago there was a nice English couple in the tasting room and after offering them a pint, Danny discovered that they had found us through their Lonely Planet guide book! We had no idea that Lonely Planet even had a page for Aspen, let alone a spot with our name on it (not to mention the “Top Choice” icon next to our name)! Also mentioned was the Woody Creek Tavern, Victoria’s, Eric’s, and J-Bar. Thank you English couple and thank you Lonely Planet!
Then, a friend tells me that she saw us in American Airlines’ magazine Celebrated Living. Really? It is a feature about ski destinations and the apres scenes. We not only got mentioned next to the Little Nell and SKY, but the Aspen photo was of our beer! Check it out here: http://www.celebratedliving.com/aspen-garibaldi-lift-company-bar-nell-hotel Sick!
Finally, after months of delays with our equipment, the new brewery at the Aspen Airport Business Center is complete. We are anxiously awaiting our final inspections and our first brew day-hopefully this week! To celebrate, we have 20% off our merchandise online if you “like” our store, and bigger discounts on select merchandise in the Tasting Room on Hopkins ave. Sales will go through the weekend after Thanksgiving. Come by and celebrate with us…the Tasting Room is always open (noon-late every day).
Our beer will resurface in Bars and Restaurants throughout Aspen, Aspen Highlands and Snowmass as well as the Roaring Fork Valley soon. Request it at your favorite valley bar! Check our website for an up to date list of establishments serving Aspen’s finest brew.
Well, it’s obvious we have a lot to celebrate here in Aspen. First, a special thanks to all of the men and women who have served in our armed forces. We raise a cold pint to honor you. Next, we’ll be skiing in Aspen/Snowmass in a week! And finally, Thanksgiving marks our one-year anniversary in the Tasting Room on Hopkins Ave.

What an amazing weekend in Moab! We left Aspen in the snow early Saturday morning to support our riders and friends at what might be the last 24 Hours of Moab mountain bike race. Despite a cold and rainy start to the race, the weather cleared and conditions were perfect. Our official team: Tiziano, Tom, Ian and Shawn dominated the Sport Division, winning by almost a full lap! Our good friends John and Pete Gaston were racing on the Honey Stinger Bee Team, while representing Strafe Outerwear and Aspen Brewing Company in sweet skin suits. I wish I had more photos of that!
Honey Stinger Bee Team won the Pro Division and first place Overall. The Aspen Brewing Company team won first Place in the Sport Division and third place overall! The Roaring Fork Valley was all over this race, and the Vail Valley simply could not keep up. Nice work guys!
What an awesome weekend…24 Hours of Moab needs your help. With a record low number of teams in all divisions this year, it might have been the last race. Get a team together and enter now to ensure this amazing event continues!
This is the 2nd time we’ve appeared on Erik Skarvan’s Local’s Show and it’s always a fun interview. This one occurred on December 21st, 2010 shortly after opening the new downtown Tap Room. Click HERE to be directed to Grassroots website and click on “watch now”.
Maxim’s Josh Eells spends a week with the boys from Aspen Brewery and we were very honest….
