and great food from Over Easy! Music starts at 3:30.
Oh yeah, we’re going extreme this weekend to celebrate the 2012 ESPN Winter X Games. FREE LIVE MUSIC Friday and Saturday Nights, $4 PINTS of Aspen’s favorite beer, and awesome GRUB from Aspen’s Over Easy Cafe. Every hour is happy hour…that means $4 Pints and $15 Pitchers of locally made craft beers, light to dark. We open every day at noon, and stay open until the party is over; that means late. Also, our hard Cider will be back on tap! Local Apple Cider fermented with wild & Champagne yeasts.
Raise your hand (or a pint) if you like to get EXTREME!
Come by the Aspen Brewing Company Tap Room tonight to watch LSU and Alabama battle for the BCS National Title. Kickoff is at 6:30 PM. Enjoy Aspen’s finest brews at $4/Pint and Over Easy’s delicious Burgers, Wings and Prime Rib Sandwich. Football Special All Night Long: $5 Quarter Pound Chili Dog!
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…Paris Hilton, Maria Carey, Heidi and Seal are all in town, the streets are lined with fur coats, and your entire family is in town!
Come by the Brewery at 304 E. Hopkins and sip some tasty brews to the tune of our favorite local musicians: Friday Night 12/23 Hurricane and Thunder take the stage at 8PM. Saturday 12/24 Brad Manosevitz will be playing the apres scene from 4-6PM.
NEW YEAR”S EVE CELEBRATION – Like no other… Live Music with Lighting & Thunder Friday Night starting at 8PM. Mark Nussmeier of Hurricane Carter On NEW YEAR’S EVE, $5 Cover – No Reservations (Capacity is 60 people). Also, our first New Year’s Specialty Brew out of the ABC Brewery is a hard cider fermented with Champagne yeast! Conundrum Red will also be back!
Town is starting to fill up with funny looking tourists, we finally have some snow to be grateful for (even though it’s going to be -14 degrees tonight), and the Sheen’s have successfully put Aspen on the holiday celebrity map….again. For these things we are grateful and what better way to give Aspen an excuse to celebrate this week! Join us Thursday, December 8th to adorn our Aspen Brewing Co Christmas tree with your very own ornaments. Bring any and all ornaments you’d like us to hang on our tree and we’ll give you your first beer for $2. It will be our rendition of the Sardy House tree lighting, only nothing like it. Then on Friday, December 9th, to get you in the Christmas caroling mood, come listen to live local musicians Mark Nussmeier (Hurricane Carter) and the Gregger as they lay down multiple guitar loops, drum beats, and vocals to a packed house. Anytime these guys have played at the brewery we get tons of requests to get them back so here’s your chance to see them again. Set #1 will start right around 8PM so get here a little early if you want a seat. Finally, back by popular demand, will be our 3rd Annual Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl on Saturday, December 10th! What better way to welcome in the opening day of Aspen Highlands than a tribute to your ugliest disgrace of a sweater (AKA amazing!). Make those poor sheep proud to have given you the tool to craft your Cosby masterpiece and parade it around Aspen all night. While the fur coats and cowboy hats come out of their off season hibernation, we’ll terrorize downtown at Aspen Brew-friendly establishments like Little Annie’s, Silver Queen, Sky Bar, and Red Onion. Meet us at the tasting room at 9PM to down a cold one before the onslaught begins. If you’re a bartender in Aspen receiving this, consider yourself warned!
September 11, 2010. We are organizing a farm to table dinner in Hotchkiss with Jack Rabbit Hill Farms (http://jackrabbithill.com/) on Saturday, September 11th starting at 6:30PM. Joe Flamer, a great local Aspen chef (and our tap handle carver), will be cooking an amazing 4+ course dinner with local/organic food/meat from the Paonia/Hotchkiss areas and using our beer as ingredients. The outdoor dinner will host 40-50 guests and will be paired with Aspen Brewery beer. Jack Rabbit Hill wines will also be available to non beer drinkers (they also have a distillery on site). Jack Rabbit Hill Farm has also been growing hops for us and we’ll be cutting the hops following dinner and brewing beer with them the next day. It should be a great evening supporting two small Colorado companies. We’ll be camping out at Jack Rabbit Hill Farm (bring your own gear) that night and all are welcome to join us. There are also a couple B&B’s nearby which are willing to offer a discounted rate for the night. If any of you are interested, could you please let me know so I can get an idea of who will be joining us. The menu is attached and runs $65/person which includes dinner, drinks, and a place to camp. Hope you can join us!
Feb 7, 2010. Please join us at the brewery for a 4:30pm kickoff of the New Orleans Saints and the Indianapolis Colt in Super Bowl XLIV. We’ll bring the fresh brews and you bring the potluck. Chips, dips, veggies…we’ll even have the grill going if you want to BBQ. If you plan on eating, please bring something, even plates and napkins. Hope to see everyone down here!
